User Group

The purpose of the User Group is to:

• Link Topic Groups together to overcome working in silos
• Connect to the wider Regional Data & Intelligence Network (RDIN)
• Represent the RDIN at the Observatory Partnership Board by nominating up to three members of the RDIN to Board level.

The User Group is made up of three members of each Topic Group and five Observers. The Observers are important partners who are not currently members of a Topic Group.

The User Group meets twice a year. Once to contribute to the Observatory's Business Plan and secondly to monitor progress.

Programme of work

The User Group have focused on developing the gap filling submission process. Other work has included the decision to take a project forward to develop brownfield sites into green space.
