Description:

This Sustainability Report has been prepared for Birmingham City Council (BCC), Bromsgrove District Council (BDC) and Worcestershire County Council (WCC, together the LPAs), and in conjunction with Advantage West Midlands and St Modwen Developments, in the preparation of an Area Action Plan (AAP) for Longbridge. The AAP, a Development Plan Document, is the formal procedure for setting out a new planning policy framework for Longbridge. This framework is essential to initiating social, environmental and economic regeneration and urban renewal in an area acutely affected by the demise of MG Rover. The Sustainability Report, and Sustainability Appraisal process, help to ensure that the framework leads to positive sustainable outcomes.
