This plan builds on the Sports Employment Research Study completed in 2004 in the region. It considers how we will strive to ensure that the right people, with the right skills and at the right time access the array of jobs and careers available in our sector year on year. This plan has two aims: 1) to generate a greater awareness of the social, economic importance of the active leisure and learning sector and its workforce in the West Midlands; 2) to present an action plan that describes the really important activities that need to be implemented in the West Midlands to help our sector and its people succeed.
