Title:

The carbon management programme: Carbon management challenges and renewable energy opportunities in the UK water and waste sectors

Type:

Report

Description:

In 2004 the group undertook a carbon management project, with the support of the Carbon Trust, which produced a scenario projecting the group's net UK greenhouse gas emissions to 2020. This showed an increase in Severn Trent's predicted greenhouse gas emissions to 2020. The report details the group's proposed actions to counter this and also makes recommendations to government to assist the group in controlling greenhouse gas emissions.
