Developing Peformance Indicators for Local Authority, Museums, Libraries and Archives

Title:

Developing Peformance Indicators for Local Authority, Museums, Libraries and Archives

Type:

Instructional

Date Created:

2006-03-23

Description:

This prospectus sets out the indicators proposed for museums and archives, and amendments for the set of library indicators. It forms the basis of MLA's proposals to DCMS and the Audit Commission for the detail of the CPA Culture Block. However, the indicators are not driven by the need to populate the block for its own sake. These indicators have been developed to evidence impact in those areas where our sector is well placed to deliver such as: Local Area Agreements; Local Indicators; and Sectoral applicability.
